Jewell Pembrey is a excellent track to start with, I started my racing there as have a lot of my mates, and a few have done their first trackdays there. Phil Bevan runs several trackdays there each year and I have had a lot of comments about how well they are run. The last one a couple of weeks ago was attended by a couple of mates, Will from Wiz slideras was also there enjoying a trackday and no doubt testing his proucts. Steve Whitear of Peak Performance in Exeter booked 20+ people in for it. I really like the track (don't think WJB and Monty like it) shame its 160 odd mile away otherwise I would use it for testing more often.

good stuff.well my aunt has a huge B&B(near haverfordwest) about 30 mins from the track so if i get some interest she might be able to put up about 5 or 6 peeps up for the night. just an iccle idea.
Here are a couple of links for Pembrey http://www.philbevanracing.co.uk/ Phil and Alan are currently looking into setting up a race school as well as doing the road racing and supermotard trackdays
Snet is as good as any. The run off goes something like this: tarmac, old tarmac (airfield), grass, crops, cow, road. It might take you 1/2 mile to get to the road past the cow mind, so keep her upright, stay off the front brake and never mind the speeds, the circuit was my first and I went grass tracking half a dozen times. Thought riding a bike was easy-peasy. Mallory is good. Brands is a little of everything and I would say more people bin it there than Mallory or Snetterton. Cadwell is a hoot and quite testing. Rockingham a little featureless - especially if you have a pal along to watch. Any of the trés £ circuits will be a waste of time and money. On balance, the novice group at Mallory or Snetterton for my money (which it isn't!).
