It may be a daft suggestion, but why not have these events publicised outside the members only area. If I can't see what the club is up to, I can't see what I'm missing out on, and so whether I want to join or not.

Thanks anyway, I'll be rejoining shortly, so won't be a problem for me but could help attract other non members...

cheers,
John.

Any news on this Gordon?

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest so far, which is disappointing to say the least!

I'd be up for a good knees up, ran out of money towards the end of the season but found a previous stash in an old sock.

as a newbie (still) I remember when I joined that, this board was a vibrant reflection of a varied and diverse membership amonst which I had dig to find DD.
I signed up and did/do/attempt DD and I've met a great bunch of folks and I would say it is now DD which keep this board, if not this club, from obscurity......which is a shame but judging by the traffic (less than a full page of posts since errr the club trackday debacle and ensuing internicine pogrom) a fact.

And you cant dispute that the drive in this instance to stage a "club" event has been by a somewhat direct admittedly Tim (love ya)

QED.....and there is always choice....Ducatisti cater well for all audiences where, using traffic once again, DDers are represented but put firmly in their place by a general concensus membership not frightend to talk to the wrong crowd or criticise the wrong tin pot dic.!

Enjoy the board, the club, and if you fancy it the DDDD! Alternatively take Tims advice. Direct or otherwise!

Thanks
