[Spinal]

So I had an unlucky off... and need some fairing welded and resprayed....

Can anyone recommed a bodyshop to do this (ideally in West London, Uxbridge/Slough area, but I'm willing to mail the fairings or travel).

Also, can anyone guess roughly what it'll cost? The quotes I have so far range from £380 to £1200...

Since taking the pictures, I have been able to source all the decals and
have them now...

Going through the damage:

Left Fairing
- Cracked around bolt holder
- Missing plastic around bellypan screw
- A few scratches

Left Seat Cowl
- Scrapes, no cracks

Nose Cone/
- Cracked on one side
- Plastic around screw mountings connecting to side fairing cracked

Right Fairing/
- Scratched
- Belly pan screw plastic thing split (as per picture)

Right Seat Cowl
- Cracked & scraped (may have a spare that isn't cracked)

Tank
- Dented/scratched (this has been covered with silver hammerite
immediately to prevent it rusting). The dent isn't deep enough to warrant
bumping it out, a bit of filler seems like the more sensible option, but
I'm open to suggestions)

My advice would be to get second hand stuff off e-bay.

I can second that Martin, they do fantastic paint jobs. Very prof and friendly. Only minus is like most of the bike paint shops, dont expect a quick turn around. But worth the wait.

My 848 was sent here: http://www.4th-dimension.co.uk/ after my little off and was transformed into the 848 Corse it is today. They are in Egham and have a vast warehouse with hundreds of bikes in there (they do a lot of insurance work).

alta mura are good but they are pricey.
Dont most dealers know of a repair shop if they dont do it themselves.

+1, but just make sure that you get a quote first.

Repairing panels may work out more expensive than sourcing replacements (and then having them sprayed to match).

You might be surprised at what used panels can cost, but be patient and the parts are out there...
