I'd be amazed if it was, unless those cans added so much, as it was probably the best bike in the paddock when he bought it; light, powerful and brilliantly put together by one of the best Ducati guys out there

ha ha just looking at the same!! Have noticed the 900ss ones seem to be 40mm spaced brakes, and not all ST and bigger Monster/SS engined machines had asj forks

These are what you need. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-748...em4ab0f dcf0f

And before you say they won't fit! all you need to do is change the top stanchions & preload adjusters for SS & you would have a great pair of forks

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3207940164... 4.m1423.l2648

These are what I run in my 800 monster & they are great.

£160 and reserve wasn't met. Seems Ducati = pay anything in many peoples eyes still!!!

nice work around the rules there too.

Well it's all sorted now. I bought a set of 748 forks and had them modified professionally ( thank you - top man ) so they would fit in my standard yokes and therefore remain within the rules. Everything fits great, clip ons, brake calipers and spindles. Thanks to everyone that had an input on this thread.
