Perhaps a comment from you on the world champions (cough cough) performance against one of the true dominant forces in world rugby...

Well I didn't see the AB's V Eng game so I can't comment other than to say that the scoreline looked like a whooping!

The reviews I read all pointed to the AB's having gotten their front 5 sorted out which has been a bit of a weakness - having said that, England fielded their heaviest pack ever and still got pushed around! Thats not good. And you're playing Worsely out of position!

Sir Clive is going to have to dig into his bag of tricks and come out with something new because everyone has learned from the World Cup, looked at the stats to see how many points came out of set piece play etc - and worked on those area's. Although the Wallaby lineout was crap against Scotland (admittedly that is one of Scotlands strengths) and I know that Eddie Jones pinpointed that as an area to improve.

I don't think Dallaglio is much of a leader to be honest, but filling the shoes of someone like Johnson was always going to be hard. We went through it when John Eales retired - it took Gregan a while to grow into the position.

Prediction time: I think that England will lose to the AB's this weekend but Aus is going to have to improve a lot to beat them, although they should gel a bit more, Mortlock will be back and put the Scottish away on Saturday. I think Eng will lose against the Wallabies as well.

There you go, I've hung them out there so we'll see what happens.

Now it's up to us to continue the pattern

Having said that, we're not playing that well at the moment and I can only hope that Eddie is up to his old tricks by not letting the backline use all their moves etc before the Eng game. To be honest, the NH tour down to the SH has been all about this game on Sat for us - the boys will be up for it!

Who do YOU think is going to win on Sat? England or Australia?

COME ON THE WALLABIES!!!

Ouch, indeed. That hurts...

Was at Cadwell today so missed the game. And missed the football mid-week too. Still, plenty of time until the next world cups ;-)
