Jools: "Just make sure you use an opening rocker, not a closing one"

"But...Uncle Porry's notion of the string and pulley system is a good one, especially if you could rig it up to the door handle so that it automatically raises the lid when you close the door...."

Jools: "Wait a minute...I think we could be on a winner here..."

: "It could save a fortune in light bulbs as well"

Jools: "How?"

"Simple. The next time the light bulb in the bog blows, don't bother to replace it, with the string and pulley system between the door handle and the bog seat, simply straddle the string as you close the door and run the crack of your **** down the string until you get to the pan !!!!"

Jools: "Brilliant. I think we should market it before somebody else does"

Remove it altogether, it's only there to hide the floaters

But its the sitting on bit that keeps falling down. Makes the eyes water when it clobbers the old chap on the way down...

Eeeh, when I were a lad, there were no namby-pamby seat. Just the bare ice cold touch of ceramic on skin.
We used to go the toilet whilst it were daylight, at least you could read the toilet paper then.

Have you never roughed it?
