I work as a Structural Cad technician, not as well paid as it sounds yet

Basically draw structural drawings using autacad, tis ok interesting to see how buildings go together

Well there's quite a few of us IT geeks ...

I'm working for myself as a contractor doing Active Directory (and associated services) and Exchange design, although not a lot of Exchange lately. BP at the moment.

Oh, and I used to be in the Aus Army as an electronics technician working mainly in comms (HF, VHF bearers, satellite bearers ...) That was a nice 7 years

just learning the ropes right now. . . which seems to involve an awful lot of 'hickory-operation' (shovelling)

i just escaped from IT hell . . . couldn't stand the wonderful world of office life any longer

have also been a mini-ferry operator (www.granvilleislandferries.bc.ca), film set labourer, aircraft mechanic, armoured vehicle mechanic (REME) . . . . . ..

Part time electrician,mainly doing repairs/maintainance and testing on local council buildings.(Schools,libraries,community centres,EPH's,etc)
I pick my daughter up from school and then put on my "domestic technican" hat.
