| The problem with paint chipping on OEM carbon panels is that Ducati do not adequately prep the panels prior to painting, resulting in poor paint adhesion. I guess this is down to the old time/cost equation and carbon takes a LOT more time and effort to prep than the OEM plastics or metal. I run into this problem all the time when repairing OEM carbon panels.
This issue should fall into the warranty catagory. I would pursue it with first the dealer where you bought the bike and if no joy there then with Ducati UK.
