Have you checked the actual oil level?
My old Orion used to do this becasue as you cornered the oil was drawn away from the pickup point in the sump which caused the pressure to drop.
Only did it on left hand bends if i remember rightly.
Easily cured in my case by disconnecting the oil pressure sender!
