It doesn't look like a scam. However if they are working together (and the idea is to make people think that bidders want it), then as it has reached the reserve, the seller is going to be seriously out of pocket when ebay claim their commission!! - I assume the "buyer" wouldn't buy it of course.
If he's seriously going to buy it, then good luck to him! Perhaps he'll turn up on the board. |
