| As I said Ihad one on this 996r before and was very impressed. It has the ball bearing system which is much better than just the ramp type which i had on my 748R. Sigma performance told me that unless you keep on greasing the ramps at regular intervals then the slipping action will not work effectively. The stm is a handsome bit of kit also.I have just spoke to a Ducati trained mechanic, Tim who used to work at Tecmoto but now works at Harris performance, and his words were you cannot go wrong with the stm. He said Ducati will faze out the six post type, and go for the single spring.
