A dream weekend behind them and the Ducati Lenovo Team is ready to back to the track at Mandalika

• Triple crown within reach: 72 hours after the success in Japan, with the 2025 Riders' Championship in the pocket and Bagnaia's victory, the Team title is ever closer

Less than 72 hours after clinching the title at Motegi, it's already time to face Round 18 of the 2025 MotoGP season in Indonesia. Ducati and Marc Márquez are already the manufacturers' and riders' World Champions; they just need to seal the Triple Crown in the Premier Class, a goal that we already achieved in 2007 and 2022. Having missed out on the title by just two points at Motegi, the Ducati Lenovo Team will only need to maintain a lead of at least 309 points over Gresini Racing at the checkered flag of the Saturday's SPRINT. The race will begin at 3:00 PM local time at the Mandalika Circuit, a track that made its debut on the calendar in 2022 and has seen the Desmosedici GP triumph twice (Bagnaia in '23 and Martin in '24).

Marc, mathematically crowned Champion thanks to two second-place finishes at Motegi in the Sprint and the race, arrived in Lombok after a series of events in the capital Jakarta, is aiming for the 100th win. He could achieve this ultimate goal on Sunday, he would celebrate this incredible year with another record for number of victories across the various categories.

Francesco Bagnaia, who dominated in Japan with the pole position, the SPRINT and the GP victory, has regained his smile. The feeling on the bike is more than positive, his instincts aboard the Desmosedici GP are restored, and he's aiming for the P2 in the championship.

The appointment for both riders is Friday, October 3rd, at 10:45 AM local time, for the first free practice session.

“In Japan everything was practically perfect, even with a bit of suspense at the end, but I'm really happy because, thanks to the work of the entire Team, we managed to get back into the top positions. It wasn't easy; there were some very tough moments. Now we still have five race weekends ahead of us: let's enjoy them, work hard, and try to recover as many points as possible in the standings”.
