After my "test" at Cadwell yesterday, I'm sticking (for the moment) with the standard shock and forks on my Monnie, it may be that the later suspension is a lot better than the previous items fitted to the earlier SS's or Monsters - I'm not sure.

This still meets with my original intention of keeping the Monster as close to original as possible and making minimal changes.

That said, I am spending more than I intended just to get a bike up to minimal spec, rearsets, exhausts etc, etc.....

This is still a "toe in the water" for me in racing terms and I'm not gonna be throwing tons of cash at it. (I've got kids and another 'arf who can make better use of the money - apparently!!!!)

Who knows, it might be a great laugh to beat riders who have invested half of a house into their bikes!!!
