She\'s back on the road!

Well, after much deliberation, my credit card and I decided that a full season of racing is out of the question this year, and a lot of trackdays is equally unlikely. Since I also can't afford a separate roadbike at the moment I decided to put the R back on the road.
Bought a second hand damaged top fairing off ebay and repaired it, then got a head and tail lamp also from ebay. Fitted the front lights back in the original way and then spent two hours filing out holes for the rear light in my seat unit! Also got some exhaust quieteners from a german bloke on ebay.
Bunged all the other stuff back on, mirrors, number plate, hooter etc and trundled off to the mot station. Needless to say, no worries there and away I go!
First ride out on friday, and boy is it still uncomfortable! But fast and sorted ride as well, the suspension is nothing short of awesome on the road, and I enjoyed myself tons!
Still got the race supercorsas on right now but I might stick some BT014's on later so I can ride in the rain a bit better.
Here's a couple of gratuitous pictures
