| 748-996 well the beast has had the 996 engine inserted. and got its first spin today. first impressions were good, it is running the DP open chip at the mo (thanks Nelly) but the ultimap single injector job is winging its way from Aus so will put that in at the end of next week then get some Dyno time. it certainly needs it as at the moment it feels quite lumpy and pops and backfires on the down shift. but the power is great. went down some of my local road to check the difference. found it lifting up the front when I became a bit to cocky on the throttle (nice) the engine feels allot fresher sounds almost more electrical. will take a bit of getting used to, but im happy  [Edited on 27-5-2005 by keefer]  |
