The display of historic cars will include around 25 famous racing cars including the Ford Galaxie of local man Jack Sears who has a bend at the circuit named after him. At lunchtime the cars will take to the track so that you can see hear them.
Bikes, on hand to talk to and reminisce will be famous works riders Tommy Robb, Frank Perris, Ron Chandler, Stan Woods and possibly 8 times world champion Phil Read. These superb riders from the golden era of bike racing will also be parading round at lunchtime on multi cylinder bikes – Tommy on a Honda 4, Frank on a V4 Yamaha and Ron on a BSA 3 for example. There will be fine displays of historic bikes by Mike Braid, Chris Wilson and the Norton Owners Club.
