The second part of that statement I agree with, the first part is open to debate, there are a few established engine houses that can build you a top notch motor in 853 guise.
I personally feel that better value for money can be obtained from either Nelly at Cornerspeed (yes, he does look after my bike) or from Neil Spalding at
www.sigmaperformance.co.uk (he's the fellow that writes a lot the techie articles for the MCN race section and elsewhere including bike.

Also did someone say they were getting 142bhp from an 853, wihout wanting to cause offence, I very very much doubt it ... thats 04 999R power and a bit ...
