Ducati sell a slip-on (assymetric) Termi system for your bike. It's in the 2005 performance catalogue. You will need the '05 749S specific kit for the right combination of front pipe (to match the newer style swingarm) and the correct fuelling ECU. This is the cheapest Termi option available and gives you a set of air filters, a new ECU, the Termi silencer with carbon heatshield and a new cat-free front pipe. I have this kit on my '04 749S.

Your only other option is a 54mm full 2-1-2 system, which will cost roughly 60% more than the assymetric system. If you're just after a bit of noise, and the looks, then I wouldn't bother with a full exhaust. I believe it's recommended to also get a PCIII with a full system to really get the fuelling spot on and get the most gains.
