Keep the chin up mate, it could be worse, you could have lost the cricket as well  Get your back side into gear and try and secure another position that way getting double coin for a month, try and turn it into a positive! I know our place are looking for staff, how does Aberdeen sound? Would the missus be happy living in the windy city?? You could at least come up on your own for a few weeks and see what you think of it. Most of the oil companies offer very good relocation packages.
