I wanted an S spec Shaun, I was offered a brand new silver one at a very, very good price but the Ohlins has appeal plus it means i can swap rear springs, the Showa unit has a special tapered spring which needs a special collar making to use any other spring. Insurance covers majority of it, i've only got to find a few hundred, not bad for a bike that'll be 4 months newer and better spec although it is red and i wanted black.  |
