| Race Teams 2006 I was thinking about Desmo Due for next season and thought I would run this by you guys (and Lin) I think Alan & Charlotte did a great job this season with a great team effort but did not get recognition in the same way that the riders did (points) and this got me thinking about next year. We as a family are also intending to run a bike in each class next year (our son Jed should be on a 600 Monster) and we plan to have the same bodywork, colours and sponsors on each bike. (I am not riding the Multi next year I'm getting a Monster) I think it would be good to have a points table for teams entered based on the points the individual riders scored even though it may not always be the same rider. If you had a guest rider on your bike, to score points they would have to fulfil the entry requirements for the class they were riding in. It should be easy enough to put a couple of extra columns onto MW's spreadsheet to keep people informed as to the team positions. I think this could help to bring the two classes closer together and add another dimension to an already fantastic series.  Discuss  Mike Desmo Due No 33  |
