| Only in France !!! Charles de Gaulle airport this morning after catching the first flight out of Heathrow.... Thinks: Gotta catch the metro across Paris...then I've gotta catch a taxi at the other end to get to the office....haven't got any Euros...need to find a cashpoint....can't find one....c'mon, must be one about here somewhere, it's an airport ffs...still can't find one...Ah, there's the American Express bureau de change, I'll get some Euros on my corporate card.... "Deux cent Euros sil vous plait" I said offering my card across..."Have you got another card sir, we don't take American Express" "So you don't accept Amex cards at the American Express bureau de change"  "Non !!!" Strange to the point of being totally unbelievable - but true  |
