Thanks for the replies guys. The bike has now gone in for service and I have mentioned all these things to Dave. The ride from Oxford to Aylesbury was the worst I have ever had. Some absolute prat in a diesel Jag X type decided that the right hand lane on a roundabout was the correct lane to take a left hand turn, culminating in me nearly ending up over his bonnet. I guess I shouldn't have taken to the roads on Friday afternoon - seems to be when most drivers remove their brains for the weekend.....
