Cheers...you'll be surpised at the number of routes around that are 100% legal...recently I went on a trip with my mate in the vid, and we travelled over 250 miles in two days, with less than a 1/4 of that on tarmac...the rest was via legal Byways etc.
Don't be put off mate...get yourself an Ordinace survey (explorer) map, which will show everything you need, and get out there
