| Well, the chap did say it was a new system, and hinted they had the first batch. I didn't want to accept the system there and then, on the phone, and said I'd ask at my local bike shop about costs, etc. He also said to make sure I didn't accept an older, inferior system.
I wondered who actually went about checking bikes with stolen "tagged" parts. He said bike theives actually have the scanners themselves and are less likely to steal a tagged bike. Do the bike dealers have scanners for checking their stock for stolen parts?
