| This makes me angry  If its an official dealer, they should do the full 2 year service if its due. They wouldn't honor a warranty claim if the bike was under ducati warranty if you didnt get the servicing done, what are they going to honor if they have to pay not ducati. I would walk, how will you know if it's really been done?? the salesman may agree to do the full service in the end, but they could just change the belts and oil? if they are even thinking about just doing the bare minimum, they probably wouldnt even do that, and you'd never know. You are paying a higher price from a dealer so you should get the service that goes with it. If they are argueing about even getting the bike up to spec BEFORE you hand over the cash, what service are you going to get AFTER - Bugger all! the 03 749 had plenty of problems, and getting one out of warranty, you are taking a gamble. get a REAL warranty.  |
