so there i am trying to log on to the site to find out what time everyones meeting for the ride to matlock...and sodding laptop spits its dummy and doesn't want to play nice, can't get on the net can't do anything and i end up face down sobbing into the keyboard at midnight so it think right - some are meeting at 11.30 so ill go down for then. Don't have time to ride into matlock and stay so i figure ill say hello at the cafe on the A6 and then swan off...get there at 11.40 and no ones there!
So i ride back over through Wirksworth and have one of the fastest and smoothest rides i've ever had despite a sphincter puckering moment when i over cooked into a corner!. Get home, take me mam out to a local fair as i promised, got to see my wife, Kate attending to nettle rash and sore bottoms (shes a paramedic). Although onthe way i came across a bike accident so i helped the guy out (very minor injuries- dog ran out in the road) so i ended up doing more than her!.
Anyway came home and got invited to a barbie, had a cracking time, my brother in law wants to buy my car off me and we've just got in so - result!
Funny how a day can go from down right shitty to being great innit?
Shame i didn't see any of you guys - but i hope the ride went well and you had a good day..hopefully next time
