Its impressive only because the maker had a theme in mind and the budget to back it up,but I think its the idea behind the bling thats meant to count.
Just lobbing on as much of the DP catalogue as you can afford isnt the point,though i'm sure it'll help. I've seen some of the past bikes where most of the excess has been dumped leaving very stripped down looking bikes,these look really good and the main resource behind them has been someones time rather than money.
I'd consider entering myself but dont think what I've got in mind for my bike would be ready in time,maybe next year though
