| There is no such thing as an insurance discount for a security product. Your claims experience, age and location will dictate your policy cost. If you feel your circumstances are such, that you need an alarm buy one.
One the other hand if your insurance company specifies policy conditions where you must have an alarm, or if you tell them you have one, and you have not yet bought it, youre not actually insured.
Any discount you negotiate is only to get your buisness, not because of the alarm.
