http://www.cbr-forum.org.uk/ What year are you talking about...used or brand new? Used, I'd go for the CBR. I have one for track which to be fair has had a few mods, but I love it - does exactly as it should, easy to ride slow or fast, but so good it could be bland, although I love the look and the under-seat exhaust. I've ridden a few R6's on track and on the road and they have to be worked very hard compared to the more docile Honda, although speed wise there's nothing in it. If you are talking new, the R6 wins by a mile, the 06 model is beautiful - I've not ridden it yet, but spoken to a few that have and it's a great handling little missile.
If new though, take a look at the gixer - the best one of the 600's imho
