because it is a superb thrill and great fun. the atmosphere in the paddock is great; unbelievable from what you may read on here but it is. doing it on a near standard bike will be no handicap. if you are a quick rider you'll be up there, if you are slow you'll be at the back but will still have enormous fun and plenty of battles throughout the season.
if you fancy a go on a bike. i will be at a few tyrackdays over the winter and you are welcome to have a try on mine.
