It's not the best Area I agree, but the venue is good too see bands, seen loads there. The first part of the floor is flat at the front, then maybe 5metres or so back it starts to slope up giving a good view whilst still being close to the stage for a good atmosphere. You'll love it, post back and let us know what you thought.  There is always a Police prescence there, the station is only 100 metres away, you'll be safe, just don't go looking for trouble.
