I was attempting to fit a new bling pressure plate today on my 999s
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Race-Clutch-pl...QQcmdZViewItem and everything was going fine until i noticed that the new plate had a bearing in it but it did not have the centre piece that recieves the rod that goes through to the engine, i tried knocking out the one from the original one but it did not seem to want to move i was reluctant to give it to much wellie incase i damaged anything, my question is that does the centre piece on the original plate come out to put in the new one or do you have to buy a new one ,the shop i bought it from says that the old one should give it up but i did not want to push it to far incase i damaged it,
