Why does it stay revved?

Hi all,

I had a strange experience with my 1995 916 this evening....and it's not the 1st time...

I was at a stop light waiting for the green color to appear.. green appears ... and before putting it into 1st gear i gave it an acceleration blip (<3000rpm). Same time 1st gear selected and when i released the clutch and slowly accelerated to move the bike, suddenly the bike started to accelerate itself, i immediatelly pulled the clutch and the revs hit the limiter. Stopped the bike with the kill switch. Started it again, same thing...

Stopped it, twisted the throttle grip a few times on of and when i started it again revs returned to normal...

This is not the first time, actually it;s the third, i replaced the throttle cable after the 1st time. The 2nd time it was 2 weeks ago and quite the same thing.

I took it to Ducati and they greased the throttle cable, throttle body linkages etc everything...

What can it be?????
