Many thanks for the response - I tried the local swiss guys in Jan this year at the swiss bike show, and they said 2 interesting things:
1: that they are the only country importer that were not owned by "Rukka" (an historical thing whereby the guy that owns the company here registered the name Rukka in CH many years ago so "Rukka" themselves would either have to give him loads of money for their own name or use him as the importer) - smart guy
2: that he would not be importing the "Gaunlet" as it would be costing about Sfr350, or about £160 a pair retail - he thought that no one would buy them at that price
Anyway many thanks for the suggestion - the road goes ever on - as Tolkien said. Or more accurately the search for these gloves...........
