| Bus Lane Cameras
Last year I visited a software company who proudly explained their new system which would monitor all the CCTV cameras in a borough and automatically send out penalty notices to drivers seen in bus lanes.
As a person who rides a bike into London each day, and uses about 6 miles of bus lane, I have been expecting the dreaded penalty charge notice ever since.
Today it arrived, from Bromley, leaving about 5 miles of Southwark's and Lambeth's bus lanes to use. No doubt they will get the same system soon. |
