Sponsorship--When I'm good enough to deserve some I may ask, until then I'll keep spending my own money on my own hobbies, 2007 will be my 9th year of club racing and I can say any debt I have is not down to the racing, until I got in to Ducati ownership about 5 years ago I didn't have any debt, this did coincide with me sponsoring somebody at the TT for 2002, 2003 and 2004 with the 2004 TT costing me enough to run 2 seasons in DD.
I would rather see sponsorship funds going into prizes like best Class Novice/Newcomer and other such things as this helps attract new blood to the series which is essential for the continuation of DD. Glyns Sponsorship of Class B last year was fantastic as was the idea behind Dickies prize in 2005 with Lin a well deserved winner.
