| We all had to raise £4000 to go on the event, at the end of it the bikes we rode were then shipped to Riders For Health in Zimbabwe to be used by health workers.
With this years quota and the ones from next years they will have equipped every health worker with a motor bike.
Barry Coleman from Riders came out to spend the last few days with us, we were informed that quite a few other African countries were interested in what they were trying to do and wanted to get onboard.
At the end of the trip loads of us donated a fair bit of our equipment to go with the bikes to Zimbabwe, we were then told by Randy that Alpinestars were donating a pair of boots for every bike.
The only major company to do anything that we were informed of. |
