Jon,

To my surprise my 'Braking' waveys turned out heavier than the standard '01 748R Brembo discs that I replaced. i thought part of the beneift of wavey was less unsprung weight. Turns out to be not the case in my instance.

Std '01 748R Brembos = 1355grm each
Braking STX62D Wavey = 1375grm each

Not saying this will be the case in all configurations but if you have the later Ohlins OEM forks and the Brembo P4 calipers that cater for a bigger offset on the discs then you may well find that the model of waveys that fit this setup, will be slightly heavier too.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Guy
