I admire your persistance Dave.
Surely the genny does not make much difference to actually starting the bike? Given that all else was ok - eg the battery and ignition systems etc shouldnt it at least start but flatten the battery eventually - just like a total loss ignition??? Or am I missing something.
Could it be that the battery is duff in someway? Could you blag a new one to try and eliminate that?
