I am doing a Lands End to John o'Groats ride for charity sometime in the summer.

It's hardly an original idea but if it raises money for a good cause (and i don't mean Sunderland football club in this case) who cares.

I'll be covering the costs of doing it myself so all proceeds will go to whatever cause it may be.

I need help in 3 areas please.

1. Nominations for a worthy charity or two.
(possibly Francis House Hospice for children in Manchester) i'd like to something for kids and bring a smile to someones face.

2. Never done this before, does anyone know if it's best to open a bank account specifically for this, i presume this is better than asking people for cash or cheques made payable to me? My customers know me and hopefully trust me, but you lot don't know me from Adam.


3. Loads of money of you lot please. Anything even a quid would all help and would be greatfully received.
