Then with the choice made threw the wheels in and Dave trying to be helpful started pumping the front brake lever, shame I hadn't had time to fit the calipers over the disc. Just made it to the collection area with seconds to spare

Often the safe choice as you don't want the rear pushing the front, it was always handy to have a set of part worn wets as well, as you knew some conditions were just going to trash a new set of wets on the big bikes.

Captive spacers and a chamfered lower edge to the brake pads always helped speed things up and you cant beat a single sided arm for a quick rear wheel change
