| Yep, unfortunately happened to one of my top fairings too. There's a carbon piece bonded in there, and it has a little tab that mates with the side fairing. Ham fisted fitting of the fairing results in too much force being applied when the tabs don't line up, causing that piece to snap off!  Even on the new fairing, it feels flimsy, so you have to be real careful when fitting the side panels to make sure the tabs link in.  |
