Cassington Bike Night

Tonights meeting was only the second time I've been without it raining (!) so it was a good evening out.

For those that don't know of it, Cassignton is a small village just north-west of Oxford and on the last Monday evening in JUne they hold a bike night. Probably 1,500 to 2,000 bikes there - far too many to look at all of them!

The whole village gets involved - it has to since the place to so small! The local school provides most of the parking facilities and also had a helmet park this year as well as selling raffle tickets, food, etc all to help increase school funds.

Riders For Health had a stand with a 749 to be won, Baines Racing had a stand with some very nice machinery on it. Alan Millyards Z2300 (a V12 Kwack made of of two Z1300 engines in V formation) was there - unfortunately I was just eating some chips when he rode past me on the way home and I couldn't juggle the chips and my camera in time to get any photos

Quite a few Dukes about, lots of Monsters but didn't see any Multi-stradas other than on the Baines stand. Couple of the big Triumph Rocket 3's (thats the new 2300cc bike not the original 750cc version) also spotted amongst the crowd.

Bumped into Mike (Davis) - rather he saw me first , Skidlids working so missed him - was anyone else there?
