I've been using a 7 since the rule use to state the battery had to be OEM fitment on a production Ducati.
It saved weight over the original and always worked well so I'm happy to stick with it.
I haven't tried a 4 so I don't know how well it works under all conditions, such as Silverstone in February of Snetterton in October but a Parc Ferme test should find out if it starts a hot engine after a race
