There's a small white connector plugged into the back of the solenoid. It's quite notorius working loose and causing your problems.
The solenoid is on the RHS of the battery tray. Pull the connector out of the back and using a very small driver, tighten the pin connectors. Push it back in and to make double sure run a thin cable tie between the two wires and around the solenoid and pull tight.
