Is it a hard wired supply or recharging battery type?
Mount it where you want then run the black lead along one of the HT leads to one of your spark plugs, fasten it with cable ties. Best if you don't cut or coil it round anything. The jack plug puts it into sleep mode to save battery power but they strongly recommend you don't start the bike with the plug in.
