One thought that did occur to me is that maybe a batch of 'pirate' chains have been made by some one unscrupulous and they are being sold as D.I.D. ???
I got mine from M&P so my fingers remain firmly crossed and chain very inspected and adjusted and lubed and ..... (you get the idea !!!)
