Thanks for that, hope your mate is ok now. In my case there were no junctions, the car driver must have taken a wrong turn at the roundabout, pulled into a layby then decided to uturn back again.

Don’t know what to do about solicitors yet. I’m with Ducati Insurance and they have recommended Keystone Legal Benefits who have already been in touch. The bike is at a local garage awaiting inspection.

I’ve never made a claim before so don’t know what to expect - all I need at the moment is more morphine and lots of sleep!
