| I run my old 916 with the standard silencers and a jhp termi chip, If anything it pulls better than with the termis on up to about 8500rpm. The engine may run rich in certain areas of the fuelling map but rich running should not damage the engine over short periods, lean running on the other hand can melt pistons and damage valves.
In my experience you should be ok
